Booking a tattoo

When enquiring or booking with me, please include all important information about your tattoo.

What design are you thinking of? Where on the body, how large approx (cm), do you want colour or black and grey, please provide reference images if possible of the imagery or style you like. If you have other tattoos in the area please advise.

If you are working within a budget please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Wanting a portrait? Not every photo makes a great tattoo - if you have multiple photos I can guide you through which ones will work best for your pet, celebrity or loved one, Please email through a selection (if possible) of photographs to horizontattoo.official@gmail.com

The clearer and higher quality the better.

Are you wanting a full sleeve, arm or leg or torso? Sometimes I will request an in person consult for a chat around the design and a measure up for an accurate quote.

Are you wanting a coverup? You will need to provide pictures of the existing tattoo, and I may need to have an in person consult in some cases. Please be aware that some coverups maybe require a larger design on top to cover well. Please be aware that not everything can be covered easily with any design. Depending on the desired outcomes, you may be asked to lighten your coverup with laser first befor proceeding with a tattoo appointment. I do not take on every cover up job and this will be decided on a case by case basis.

I typically will design your tattoo the week of your appointment, due to the volume of designing I do - I can't design weeks ahead, sorry.

If you can provide a clear, square on (very important - in a mirror or friend taking the photo works well) photograph of the area of your body, I can design your tattoo directly on your photo so you can see what it will look like on your body. This is common practice and incurs no extra charge. Please be aware that this maybe differ slightly in person due to the curvature and shape of the body as opposed to the 2d screen of a phone or computer.

All bookings require a deposit to secure your appointment,

no deposit = no booking = no designing.

Deposits will range from $50 to $200 depending on the nature of our relationship and scope of the work to be undertaken.

Deposits are non refundable. If adequate notice is given about a reschedule, I will transfer your deposit to your new appointment time. Multplie reschedules may require a new deposit to be paid.

My standard rates are but not limited to, and may change depending on the scope of the work:

$200 hr

$650 half day

$1200 full day

For large scale work, you will be quoted a very fair and competitive price for the piece rather than a timed session, this is because I have completed sleeves and backs in as little as ONE Session on multiple occasions.

If you are a University Student, a Pensioner (including but not limited to disability and Veteran) or an Apprentice (of any trade) - you may be eligible for a discounted tattoo.

Return Clients receive discounted sessions.

If you have trouble saving, you are able to prepay your tattoo in any amounts, leading up to your session.

I do offer afterpay, however a surcharge applies.
