I’ve been eating SDS for twenty plus years and today introduced my fifteen year old daughter to this beautiful institution. As the below review said. Its like a warm hug of coming home.

Hugo - Chicken schnitzel, SDS Herb Mayo™, lettuce, tasty cheese, Roma tomato, cucumber and SDS Caramelised Carrots™ $16 is reasonable for the size of the sandwich when you order in shop, but it ended up being $21.50 on UberEats so it wasn't worth it for me given that the chicken schnitzel was way too thin and the wrong ratio for the thickness of the sandwich. The white bread was pillowy and had a nice crust. The filling was also decent but again, the lack of chicken was disappointing. Couldn't help think of a 3 piece Feed I could have got for this with change so I won't be ordering this again.

Quite disappointed with the schnitzel sandwich. I had much higher expectations. I saw pictures online and it was not even close to those. Chicken tasted really good, pity there wasn’t much of it and it was very thin. Herb mayo was okay, tasted a bit like yoghurt, bread was fresh but overall was a very average sandwich.

People always say ‘ the flavour hits’. This isn't a hit. It's a hug. Da Vinci had Michaelangelo, South Dowling has The Daniel. The chicken schnitzel might be the main character, but the caramelized carrots win best supporting actor. I might be high on flavour, but this review is straight from the heart. Bite for bite, word for word.

Absolute value for money! Massive sandwiches, packed with veggies and flavour. The massive lines are totally understandable. Tried both the veggie and vegan options which were both delicious. The caramelised carrots are to die for. Please also make the vegan option a menu staple! Totally worth the hype.
