Skittle Lane, founded by Jodie Foster and Dean Wooding in 2015, combines quality coffee, design, and hospitality. It includes a roastery, brew gear collection, and ethical sourcing.
Good service. Pretty good coffee but not the best. Cinnamon scroll was very average (dry) and the toasted croissant was OK (using a flat iron really takes away the delicious flakiness though).
The coffee is delicious, and the ambiance is great. However, the only downside is that there are no separate tables, only staircase-style seating with chairs. It might be challenging to recommend for groups since it's not easy for several people to sit together and enjoy their meal.
Cleanliness:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Parking: n/a Food taste/quality:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vibe (quiet/noisy/cosy/vibrant): vibrant Comments: very busy corner cafe in city. The coffee tasted like melbourn-styled coffee to me(more acidic i would say). The ambience was great and friendly staff
So glad I found this little cute cafe in Sydney CBD area. Their flat white ☕️ is probably one of the best I ever tasted, same as the ham&cheese bagel. Reasonably priced too! Love love love, definitely will come back again.
People throw the word ‘best’ around a lot. But seriously. That’s the best flat white in Sydney. If not Australia (bold I know). Imagine messing up a job trial, feeling flat but needing inspiration. You follow your Google map straight to smooth jazz hop beats and coffee aroma. Old school decor, old school vibe. No menu you just say what coffee you’re in the mood for. 10 minutes later and your funk is kicked, caffeine and mood boosted. Welcome to Skittle Lane. PS this isn’t paid or sponsored, they don’t even know who I am. But I’ll remember them. Done.
