On par when comparing to the other Nike stores in Melbourne. Pretty good range when I visited, was impressed with their sneaker range but was limited when it came to the Jordan range. The staff were very friendly with greeting and offered to help.
3 months into a $250 pair of shoes (Nike Air Zoom Vomero 16) and they just fall apart. I have been trying to get this resolved with the store for over a month now. Buy here at your own warning, the shoes are not holding up and there is no customer service at all.
My Sunday afternoon visit to the Nike store left much to be desired. After waiting for 20 minutes without assistance, I was disappointed by the lack of help due to my small feet. The sales assistant suggested I check the kids' section and later ignored my requests for suggestions. After an additional 10 minutes of waiting, I decided to leave and went to another nearby store. There, I received exceptional assistance and ironically found the Nike shoes I wanted in the same size that the other store had, due to their smaller fit. If the Nike Store had provided better assistance, I could have tried the shoes on and made a purchase right away. It's clear that the store missed out on a sales opportunity and a satisfied customer due to poor service.
After speaking to several customer service reps and different store in Melbourne I was absolutely stunned with the poor customer service I was receiving until I contacted the chapel st store and spoke to Lou. He was clear with his communication and had great product knowledge. He was able to resolve my query within minutes! Nike needs to hire more staff like Lou!
Very helpful staff. I new what I wanted and they made it quick and easy to grab a new pair of kicks.
