Carter Lovett have always been a favourite with it’s absolutely delicious food and lovely staff. The service was incredible fast given how busy it was today. But the amount of people crammed into that tiny space was just to much noise to hear yourself think. We had to scream across the table to hear each other and this made it slightly less enjoyable. Great place overall.
Love Carter Lovett! The vibe, the staff, the food, all of it! Another cafe which doesn’t have the standard brunch menu and aren’t scared air trying new things. My friend had the Cumberland Sausage with came with a Bloody Mary! And I had baked beans with mozzarella, and added a Bloody Mary as I had drink envy! The music in the cafe was amazing, and was a whole vibe! The staff was amazing and so lovely. And not to mention that it’s dog friendly. The space it’s self is big and has plenty of outside space with heaters. When I was paying I noticed they had some amazing looking pastries , next time I go back I’ll try them! Oh and they are now also open for dinner so I’ll definitely be back to try that!
Went to Carter Lovett for brunch this morning and given its popularity there was a wait but staff were super friendly and got us in as soon as possible. We really appreciated the hospitality in our interactions, everyone was absolutely lovely. The food was yummy too and arrived quite swiftly. I had the apple porridge and hubs had a lamb salad which we both enjoyed. We will definitely be back
Such a great spot for breakfast, the service is brilliant, food is even better. Good quality meals, perfect portion sizes and DELICIOUS coffee 💝
Visited a couple of weeks ago with my family for brunch. The cafe was pumping and we were lucky enough to be seated quickly. Service was friendly and the food was delightful. Everything was fresh and the portions were generous. Coffees were fantastic. Toilet available out the back. Street parking available but timed.
